Crysis is a thinking person's fps. It's one of the few shooters where you can't just rush into a situation and kill everything in sight. You had to plan out your attack using the suit and the environment. Imo THAT was what made Crysis so much fun. If you just want to run down a hallway and watch stuff explode there are much more "fun" games that will cater to you, but Crysis is something special. Anyway, this looks spectacular and you guys over at Crymod are doing some amazing stuff.

This video does fail to capture the exact demonstration of the CGI trailer, but it does capture the atmosphere of Killzone 2 in a more semi realistic fashion and it looks more better and real. In Killzone 2, it looks great but it doesn't present the atmosphere in a realistic fashion, but more like a gritty cartoon if anything.

Coming from an Xbox 360/ PS3 owner, I have to say that those who think Killzone 2 looks better than Crysis and this mod have never played Crysis nor seen it in person.

I have a crappy computer that plays WoW, but I've seen Crysis run on some computers and the game just craps on anything I've ever seen.

Killzone 2 looks fantastic, judging by the demo I've played, but it is nothing compared to the technology Crysis uses.

PS3 owners are stubborn. They will never admit that any of their games are outdone by others from other platforms. Even Xbox 360 owners admit that there is nothing out there that bests Crysis in graphics. PS3 owners are the only ones who will never admit that Killzone 2 isn't graphically on par or better than Crysis.

Killzone 2 doesn't even have dynamic shadows. All the shadows are mapped. The only thing Killzone 2 has going for it is the good use of motion blur and depth of field. That's it.

And even the graphical low parts of Crysis are still well beyond highlights in KZ2, which you understand if you have basic technicall understanding.
