Android (Finally!) is as smooth as ios and windows phone 7!!

I actually almost bought a galaxy nexus. I even made sure gpu rendering was forced. Then I went and played with the iPhone and back to back the iPhone was still noticeably more responsive and smooth. I also had ics on my fascinate and it was nowhere near iOS smooth. There are a lot of things android does well, smooth is not one of them. Even with ics and a dual core processor.

That doesn't explain why android is choppy in every menu and app. I have some very complex apps that are buttery smooth. Android is unresponsive and choppy in every app.

@MrMotismo Cause the Gpu acceleration mode has'nt been enable untill ICS. Runs very smooth considering its only using cpu for all its tasks/multitask and multitasking it does indeed.

@deyvit25 Oh yea with a max resolution off 800x400 and no "real" support for dualcore processors, not mention what kinda movies you can play on it.. Or even game for that matter. You are damn right your windows phone must be kicking ass, getting one right now.

And anyone claiming their android phone is as smooth as the iPhone or windows phone is delusional. I just ditched my android device after a year of rooting and over clocking it was never as responsive as my new 4s. At the time it felt like it, but trust me even clocked to 1.5 ghz and running cm7 or miui it wasn't this smooth

And all it took was a monster quad core processor. Way to go android....oh wait apple and wp7 got there with single core processors and less than a gig of ram.

@MrMotismo Yeah but lets see hmm, Iphone only have icons to render. - Wait it must be more.. No its basicly just icons for everything. Its a wallpaper and icon,, icon icon. That must be very intensence for cpu gpu?. Windows hmm, black backgrounds and text. Yey thats must be really hard too. Dont forget the squares oh i mean tiles :D

I have a galaxy s 19000 and im running cm9 (android 4.0.3) and its so bloody smooth and theres no lag. The worst part is im still running an alpha version of cm9 and im having no problem with lag, no crashes and my phone's single core, no overclocking. I'm loving it.

Was really inclined to get the galaxy note after seeing ur galaxy note video but its so damn expensive on contract here in the UK so I went with the Motorola Razr which has impressed me a lot so far, hope ics will work great on it! Tried the rain meter theme frm ur previous video it does have little bugs but overall great stuff! keep up the good work!

HAHA one step at a time bro. ICS will come to the galaxy note pretty soon and it'll be worth it. The note is the most powerful phone so it'll chew through that icecream for breakfast as well as the galaxy nexus!!!
