C is an even greater mess! (Memory leakages)

C++ is verbose (Calls itself OO by just adding even more complexities)

Java (-minus all of the above and +plus excellence, automatic Garbage Management)

@intensechap I don't know about you. But if you had come with this argument when I wrote the comment you would have been right. Java that I use at work now is faster than C++ atleast and gives less headache when managing memory objects. You have to give a language time to grow. ASM is verbose code - plus I was talkinig about OO code back then.

mmn, well I don't know much about Java or even programming in general because I'm still a beginner but leaving Assembler aside,

C/C++ should be faster with the use of pointers, which Java doesn't have. when I tried to learn Java, I noticed that all objects are declared on the free store compared to C++.

Anyways, are you talking about the JVM?

The college that I attended offered 2yrs condensed into 1. I bought an IBM that you took a loan out like you were buying a car it was that expensive. Cobal required us to type everything in on the A drive and getting on the internet was a biotch. You had to lay your phone off the hook and then log in through the A drive.

You guys have it so much easier.
