I drove this car for a while today. Why has no one critisized the throttle response and the transmission? It is impossible to accelerate smoothly in this car. It is a little better in economy mode but still balky and unpredictable. I don't want to be nailed to the seat every time I come off a light! The new engine and drive train combo have ruined this car at the expense of a few more mpg. I love everything else about the car but I cannot buy it. Drive it and you will see what I mean.

@supasly75 - The twin turbo is only on the AMG version and will be over 500hp. I think dude misspoke.

@von32897 Mercedes has new 4.7l Turbo engine to replace the old NA 5.5l engine. new AMG version is 5.5l twin turbo.
