He plays at exactly the tempo that Idil Biret plays it. In other words, it is fine. It's not exactly 'Allegro assai', as Chopin played it and intended it to be played, but who cares :)

In my opinion you could personalize it even more.I mean, staying wihin the chopin style and trying to find your "own way through the piece".see what i mean?Otherwise we can really see that you control the piece very well, its just a question of polishing everything up!!! good luck and hope to hear more from you!!!

@ericjaames Thank you very much ericjaames. The reason why I'm playing slower than the standard tempo is because at that time I had just started the piece (for four months or so). The important thing is for me to be in control of the piece and I've tried different tempos and this is the one that I find that I can be in control of it. I am working of speeding up and it is going so for so good.

It's good to speed up,

but make sure to always "control" the piece ;)

That's the most common mistake everybody makes. Even the greatest pianists.
