Thanks! That is the most original compliment I have seen! thank you! It is a g string custom tenor that I was given a few years ago...not the James Hill model but that one is amazing too! I am actually a righty but my camera filmed the other way!
Cheese that was brilliant! You're an amazing player!
Umm, do you mind if I ask what uke you have? Is it a baritone? I have a soprano and I can sdo the first bit of the paganini but then it goes too high (i can't go above a top Bflat *sigh*) and I would love to be able to play this tune!
I forgot to Favorite this last time I viewed/commmented. This is just such a phenomenal job I can't believe the low views. It leaves me speechless everytime... lightning speed, crisp sound, and fluid timing.
Thanks man that means a lot to me that you would come back and listen and want to place it as under your favorite's !!! Working on the 5th caprice when I have time so a vid may be coming of that one soon
Not sure but I do it around 80 to the quarter note right now...Jason becker is nuts man !!! good for you going for that !!! I just bought the violin music and am learning it now
Wats the original speed o paganini's 5th caprice i can play a bit o the jason becker version which is impossible to get all the way through i dnt know how he does it!
already on it !!! haha you are already predicting my next move...I have the first half down pretty good it is just the memory of the second half but I am on it for sure !!!
Well is that on ukulele? I know Jake did the first part, but I think it is fair to say I am the first to do almost the entire piece...left out one for length and the other parts I will look back when I want to spice it up a bit haha...thanks for listening !!!
great vid.. almost flawless execution too!! very inspirational.. I posted it as a comment on several of my friends myspace pages. Very cool! makes me think I should have taken up the uke instead of bass.. hahaha
I actually don't really know the exact price, I was given it from the owner of G string ukulele under sponsorship. I saw one very much like it at the ukulele house in the almoana mall (pardon the spelling) i believe between 3 - $5000. Honestly, it is well worth it as endless possiblity comes with a gstring. Your video was good, just for some feedback, a smoother motion would really be a major elevation for the performance to be that much more musical.
thank you !!! If paganini had only known haha. The ukulele is one of the G string models which are made in Hawaii. Check them out if you are interested in getting a ukulele because they are the best this instrument has to offer in terms of quality and bang for your buck.
Thanks!!! Glad you enjoyed it !!! I don't mind at all...i tried to get the clip to add to my account so hopefully it worked !!! good filming and once again thx for the support !!! good times!
Thank you !!! I actually come to hawaii every summer and perform !!! I am apart of the Langley ukulele ensemble if you have heard of that group. We come to hawaii every year and perform! Thanks for the comment and appreciation. Keep strummin'
