  • you're incredible!!!

  • Bravo! Very inspiring. Thank you.

  • is there a way that I can get the tabs for this lovely piece?

  • @durak1111 i got something its called look up the sheet music lol,its the exact same thing.lol

  • dude, your chops are better then a thick cut southern fried pork chop.. This is by far one of the best pieces I have seen in sometime.. Jake who?

is that a james hill signature Tenor uke flipped to a lefty?

  • Thanks! That is the most original compliment I have seen! thank you! It is a g string custom tenor that I was given a few years ago...not the James Hill model but that one is amazing too! I am actually a righty but my camera filmed the other way!

  • *Bows down*

  • Cheese that was brilliant! You're an amazing player!

Umm, do you mind if I ask what uke you have? Is it a baritone? I have a soprano and I can sdo the first bit of the paganini but then it goes too high (i can't go above a top Bflat *sigh*) and I would love to be able to play this tune!

    Amazing again, and thanks!

  • Amazing! You played it so well and in one segment. I can't figure out your tuning, is it low-A? (ADF#B)

  • yet it is low A - D - F# - and B

  • This is beautiful, I wonder how long it will be before I reach your level of skill.

  • Insanely incredible. I am beyond amazed. BEYOND amazed.

  • I forgot to Favorite this last time I viewed/commmented. This is just such a phenomenal job I can't believe the low views. It leaves me speechless everytime... lightning speed, crisp sound, and fluid timing.

  • Thanks man that means a lot to me that you would come back and listen and want to place it as under your favorite's !!! Working on the 5th caprice when I have time so a vid may be coming of that one soon

  • I can't wait!

  • you deserve WAY more views than you are getting right now

honestly, i think you're the most talented ukulele non-professional ukulele player on youtube right now

  • Well that means a lot to me !!! Your comments are very humbleing and I hope my video's to come are enjoyed by you and hopefully more !!!

  • That sounds superb! Which model is that uke?

  • g string ukulele

  • Chapeau!!

  • metal

  • Not sure but I do it around 80 to the quarter note right now...Jason becker is nuts man !!! good for you going for that !!! I just bought the violin music and am learning it now

  • Wats the original speed o paganini's 5th caprice i can play a bit o the jason becker version which is impossible to get all the way through i dnt know how he does it!

  • I am confident that you can pull it off!

  • Thanks !!! Its technically challenging but I am up for the challenge !!! Thanks for whatching

  • Excellent job! Now let's hear the 5th Caprice up to full speed. You can do it! I can't, but I think you may be able to pull it off.

  • already on it !!! haha you are already predicting my next move...I have the first half down pretty good it is just the memory of the second half but I am on it for sure !!!

  • ahah wow good luck

  • when its done trust me it will be here to hopefully enjoy haha !!! It definately is a challenge but totally worth it !!!

  • Btw, very inspirational. Paganini would be very proud to see that. :)

  • Thanks !!! I got to play it in Liverpool, Halifax on his Birthday which was pretty cool !!!

  • Holy crap. Around 2:40, the chord progression is insane. 5 effing stars!

  • A minor scale progression, a beast to play here. Not too bad on the guitar.

  • Thanks man !!! Its a challenge thats for sure haha

  • Finally, someone who plays past the first variation.

  • Well is that on ukulele? I know Jake did the first part, but I think it is fair to say I am the first to do almost the entire piece...left out one for length and the other parts I will look back when I want to spice it up a bit haha...thanks for listening !!!

  • great vid.. almost flawless execution too!! very inspirational.. I posted it as a comment on several of my friends myspace pages. Very cool! makes me think I should have taken up the uke instead of bass.. hahaha

  • haha you still can my man !!! Thank you for listening and sending it onwards !!

  • how much was your Gstring?

  • I actually don't really know the exact price, I was given it from the owner of G string ukulele under sponsorship. I saw one very much like it at the ukulele house in the almoana mall (pardon the spelling) i believe between 3 - $5000. Honestly, it is well worth it as endless possiblity comes with a gstring. Your video was good, just for some feedback, a smoother motion would really be a major elevation for the performance to be that much more musical.

  • WOW!!, nice job!!! nice ukulele. 5 stars!!! this is amazing

  • thank you !!! If paganini had only known haha. The ukulele is one of the G string models which are made in Hawaii. Check them out if you are interested in getting a ukulele because they are the best this instrument has to offer in terms of quality and bang for your buck.

  • Great!!

This is a very beautiful sound.

    And, your technique is wonderful.

  • Thank you !!! keep playing

  • Incredible.... Just incredible.

  • Thank you !!!

  • Thanks!!! Glad you enjoyed it !!! I don't mind at all...i tried to get the clip to add to my account so hopefully it worked !!! good filming and once again thx for the support !!! good times!

  • Paul! this is wonderful!

I posted you doing Tears in Heaven (from Hawaii) yesterday... hope you don't mind ;)

  • Holy $*%t!! I am sooo not worthy! You are without a doubt one of the brightest ukulele players I've ever seen. Awesome. :D

  • Thank you !!! I actually come to hawaii every summer and perform !!! I am apart of the Langley ukulele ensemble if you have heard of that group. We come to hawaii every year and perform! Thanks for the comment and appreciation. Keep strummin'

  • Very nice!! =) What ukulele is that? It's sooo sexy =P

  • *claps*
