Actually, Palestine was controlled by the Ottomen Empire during WWI. After they lost WWI Great Britian won control and gave a portion of barren land to the Zionist in the Balfour Declaration because of antisemitism throughout the world and inhabited that land before and during the Roman Empire. During this time (after WWI) many Jews still were not allowed into the territory. After the holocaust, Jews were allowed to move in 1947 due to the UN Res 181. In 1948 Isreal proclaimed soverinity.

I am not your typical party follower. I spend a great deal of my time defending liberty! I consider myself the true conservative, not what the republicans are today! Both parties have drifted from the constitution so much and our country is divided into liberal and conservative when we should all be Americans defend ALL civil liberties! McBama is not the answer, freedom, liberty, economic growth, civil liberties,.....these are the answers we need to implement!

I am not christian or any religion for that matter. I also could care less about making money(I'm pretty poor). What about people like me who reject slavery government and jut want liberty and peace? That's exactly what our government wanted from its people. We Americans really don't know much about other cultures. Hell, we know even less about our next door neihbors. Our government took advantage of us and we are to stupid to realize that we were used. They're profiting from the deaths of Americans. Some of us are so completely "brainded" that we continue to support the current administration. Death and destruction seems to be all Bush has to offer.

To answer your answer yes, it is, as you people trap the poor and middle class into systems that don't work as well as private market ones. And I should know I live in Canada--the rich go to the states when they want timely health care, and the poor and mc wait in line and suffer. And the public pension plans here are not fully funded they're population based, and therefore almost worthless as a savings mechanism.
