I was going to try this with a bottle..but i had a cheap cube that i had to break just to get the pieces apart.. so i dont have one now because the center peice split in half when i broke it apart
There is a tutorial available on how to convert a cheap "made in Taiwan" cube (with snap on center blocks) to a somewhat standard rubic (with screwed center blocks).

I used a dollar store cube and I don't think the pieces go together with as much ease as the actual Rubik's Cube as you used. Both cubes are likely the same size tho, so using a relish jar should work fine.
Oh ok. I just made one last night using a Bick's relish jar. It worked perfect!! It's trickier cause it's a tighter fit, but that just makes it seem even more impossible.
though im sure you wont tell me(email morbidly_mundane at yahoo dot com) im dying to know how people get an arrow through a bottle, or at least a small hint.
Very similar, although you cannot use your hands directly, you have to use tools all the time. The center must be disassembled to an I (two pieces+center cross).

Retard for you ey? Sure... lol
You are quite correct sir, you do not have to remove the center, but there is a reason to why I did that - as you can see if you read more in detail.

That's pretty cool. So now, how do you get it out? :)

I do it in reverse.

You got this 3 by 3 rubik's cube. I assembled the 5v5, and it was slightly more difficult, why dont u try to assemble the 5 by5 cube in the jar.

Perfect! The tighter the better is the key when doing impossible objects. Please upload a video. Feel free to add it as a response to this video.

what kind of jar is that?
U2fan24 4 years ago
A swedish pickled herring jar. I guess there would be suitable jam or honey jars.
