We just bought a used G37 coupe last night and my wife absolutely is in love with this car. It is very impressive with the horsepower, great growl to the exhaust, and of course all the high end comforts and features inside. I can't wait to get this car in the twists to see what it can do!

America makes perfectly fine cars, but due to the fact that the government forces major American car corporations to run inefficiently--mainly by imposing upon them labor unions which survive solely due to government action (such as the bailouts)--American car manufacturers are forced to price their cars more highly than foreign cars. Likewise, American manufacturers are forced to compete with cars priced like the Camry with Kia quality cars because of the increased cost of American union labor.

True but sad story. Yeah, you can almost get two G37s for the price of one M3. But a 335i will s*** on any G37 for the same price; around the track and in a straight line. And don't hit me with that "how, the G makes 30 more HP". It does, but look at the monster torque plateau on the 335 and get back to me!

Very untrue, because where you can access the power in the engines rpm band is an important part of getting any vehicle around a track. The BMW engine includes two small low-inertia turbos at low pressure to provide over 60% of available torque at 1400 RPMs, and sustain a consistant 100% tq "plateau" from 2200 RPMs to 4700 RPMs and then give 80% until redline. For each gear! This engine is the monster that pulls the new bear of an X5 around pretty swiftly!

who cares about the track... 90% of both cars' buyers will never see a track. The BMW can't hang in everyday ride comfort... especially on rougher road (and interior on that 335i is yawnable). plus, BMWs spend way more time in the shop than Infinitis ever will.

to top it off, BMW has blood on its hands from building its company off the backs of slave laborers in Nazi germany. read about the Quandt family (not that you or most others give 2 shats).

The BMW can hang in everyday comfort so long as the sport package is not optioned with the 19' wheel package. As for interior, BMW has always made spartan, utilitarian interiors. But the quality of the materials has always been premium. To make a blanket statement that "BMWs spend more time in the shop than Infinitis" shows your lack of information, and reduces your credibility. If you're so concerned with corrupt WWII history, you should research Bayer, BASF, IBM, VW, and Prescott Bush...

As for shop time, I guess I don't have verifiable data to back the statement up, so I'll retract.  Just going by the sheer difference in the amount of (down-time) complaining found on the net between BMW and Infiniti owners.

I have to be honest. As a former BMW of NA employee, one E65 7-series probably saw more shop time in its first year than all infiniti vehicles combined. LOL However, the bread and butter 3 series has always been a different animal; give or take a few self-destructing N52s and S54s.

But looks wise I like the Caddy a bit more but the base caddy is missing alot of features, doesn't even have xenon headlights. What do you guys think about these 3 cars.

My wife bought one. She went for the Journey model, equipped. Very responsive and quick. It's loads of fun to drive. The real difference is the the presence the car has. It really does turn heads. We spent about 15 hours at BMW, Lexus, and Infiniti before she decided on the G37. Fortunately, she picked the one that I liked!

Mercedes has really fallen off the block. At one point in history they had the reputation of being overly engineered. Now the quality on them are downright sad. This is why the cars value depreciate so rapidly within first few years. When MB fix all these quality issues(electronic failures)perhaps ill reconsider. The g37 and bmw 1 series are what i'm looking at.
