Ooh...nice job but boy you were tense back then. Love the groove, but mercy mercy is so laid back, soften up those hits. Do you only do trad. grip or do you do match as well?
work on your traditional grip. everytime you hit your snare you reposition your hand...you need to get to a point where that doesn't happen...it makes things more choppy and dirty. but good job
You know, your playing style actually reminds me a lot of my own. And like you, I often overplay when I get really in to whatever I'm listening to. Just learn to listen carefully to everything that is going on in the music and get DEEP into that groove. That will improve dynamics and fell. You got potential kid.
dude nice vid. good mechanical stuff but u gotta loosen up. and also try to use more then two of your cymbals :) a little more jazzy would be better for this song! but otherwise nice job man. im 14 too and i play in a big band! you should try stuff like that!

this is excellent stuff, one thing I would say though is spend some time working on dynamics, a lighter touch would make this fantastic.

Little more groove man, you gotta loosen up a bit and really get the feel of the song. Other than that, kickass job.
