  • Ooh...nice job but boy you were tense back then. Love the groove, but mercy mercy is so laid back, soften up those hits. Do you only do trad. grip or do you do match as well?

  • Hey how'd u get a drumless track. I would very much like rto know pls

  • TOO MUCH CYMBAL!!! Listen to Buddy Rich playing the song,NOT the wannabees....sorry but that was like listening to a train wreck...just saying....

  • work on your traditional grip. everytime you hit your snare you reposition your hand...you need to get to a point where that doesn't happen...it makes things more choppy and dirty. but good job

  • this is excellent stuff, one thing I would say though is spend some time working on dynamics, a lighter touch would make this fantastic.

  • Wow, that kids know who de f... Buddy Rich was ! ;) Great job !

  • how long have u been playing??

  • @blu753 for as long as I can remember.......probably around 12 yrs

  • do u take lessons?

  • @blu753 I was for a while but I stopped

  • You know, your playing style actually reminds me a lot of my own. And like you, I often overplay when I get really in to whatever I'm listening to. Just learn to listen carefully to everything that is going on in the music and get DEEP into that groove. That will improve dynamics and fell. You got potential kid.

  • very nice. . maybe a little more dynamics?? just a suggestion like :)

  • i didnt mean that to be mean, im 15, im just saying that he needs a little bit better cymbols, no offense!

  • Great to see young people (with faces) digging Buddy's charts. Remember, NO Beards. LOL

  • good! nice drumming boy

  • get some new symbols

  • Learn how to spell cymbals before you leave a negative comment for such a gifted kid.

  • Great job! "Burning for Buddy" is one of my favorite CDs. Good to see someone your age getting into this style of music.

  • i think youre playing reallyy nice man!!!.. i can see that you really enjoy to play the drums, and you have the feeling! (: i like it..

  • Little more groove man, you gotta loosen up a bit and really get the feel of the song. Other than that, kickass job.

  • really good, but there's just too much bass drum.

  • this is fron the tribute ambum. so this isnt buddy rich playing its Neil Peart playing drums.

  • @miles53194

its actually dave weckl playing drums

  • oh i thought it was neil pert my bad lol. thanks for the correction

  • dude nice vid. good mechanical stuff but u gotta loosen up. and also try to use more then two of your cymbals :) a little more jazzy would be better for this song! but otherwise nice job man. im 14 too and i play in a big band! you should try stuff like that!

  • if you play quieter it will sound much better and good =]

  • you sure can smack them hard for a 14 year old,
