Ironic that Fox News gets mad at that weak satire but don't seem to mind when The Simpsons has quotes like "I'm Rupert Murdoch, the Billionaire Tyrant!" That specific quote was even said by Rupert Murdoch himself in the episode Sunny, Cruddy Sunday. And what about when Family Guy compared the McCain/Palin ticket to the Nazi party? Yes, it did get some attention from Fox but not a full-on rant.

Why put politics in children's shows? Because millions of parents are "forced" to watch this with their kids because it is the best show on TV for kids 5 and under, and has been for 40 years. It is something to entertain the parents as well as the kids. What if they had TNN... Trash News Network? Would that be funny then? It is a joke... and the same joke. It's not like they said anything that people's complaints would lead one to believe. They said Pox news is a trashy news channel. Relax!

I'm republican, so I spot media bias all the time. This is NOT A BIG DEAL compared to other things I have seen. I don't know why conservatives are getting all excited about this clip. Every time I watch Fox, I see they aren't afraid of poking a little fun at themselves. Watch The Simpsons for example. They are always poking fun at Fox, and I think it's hilarious. I am truly glad to see we are on the same level. I consider myself a conservative Democrat. Agree with many fiscal policies of both parties, and quality of life issues of both parties as well. Maybe it is because I agree and disagree with POV from both parties that I can spot bias when I see it. Many many news channels are biased, but ONLY the "talk shows" like Oreilly and Larry King. Honestly, I wish there were a true third party, "Independence Party" which blend the ideals of both I mentioned.

PBS will always have a liberal bias. Conservatives view expression as something that belongs to the private citizen and shouldn't be federally funded while liberals want to tax in order to forward policies. It's in PBS' best interests to promote liberal candidates/ideals who will in turn fund them through the second source of funds-your tax dollars.

The same capitalism that makes insurers want a profit is the capitalism that makes crackheads want free healthcare. It's called "profit motive".

I see nothing wrong with watching a variety of news channels, including Fox, and then making up my own mind-- and I will continue to do this. Not watching Fox leaves you open to being brainwashed on the other side, considering the liberal slant of the other news organizations. Also, Fox tends to have many stories that other organizations miss or ignore-- hence why many other news organizations and the White House have now appointed people to specifically watch Fox and see what they're saying.

I think you're mis-understanding the difference between a lie and a position contrary to yours. In situations of blame or any other opinion-based topic, as long as someone doesn't use a "fact" that he knows to be untrue, he is not lying. Just because someone disagrees with you does not mean that they are lying.
