  • bellinoooooo....

  • You know who made the arcade unit for this game in '95?

The world renowned company, Lockheed Martin (who make billions of dollars selling the world's most advanced technologies.)

  • VF 2 & 3 were the best imo

  • Comment removed

  • John O'Brien

VG Anoouncer, Virtua Fighter 3, Fighters Megamix and Virtua Fighter 4

  • LOL I remember My ex -girlfirend was japanese and she translated the Japanese victory taunts for VF. Akiras: 'Junen Hyandayu' means, 'Come back next year' :D

  • Is there a Dreamcast emulator?

  • @katerkidz yes its called NullDC use google for the download and youtube for a tutorial on how to use it.

  • Holy shit! I'm fighting in first person! Thank you screwy camera!

  • sega dreamcast the best video game system on earth

  • Cool. Pai's sweep kick sound effect sounds just like the rockets in Red Faction (original).

  • I love you pai chan! <3 <3 <3

  • Yeah, Kick the bitch! that was a call equal

  • First person fighting?

  • 00:26 lau vs...HOOKER

  • Apple Pai. :3

  • Virtua Fighter 2 and 3 are my favorites out of the series. Personally I enjoy them more then Tekken. Tekkens a bit slower paced. Which version of nulldc were you using? I personally havent moved from the Beta 1.6 due to speed issues with the newest version.

  • which virtua fighter arcade game was it that showed a character, then there fighting stance and they beat up someone and do the same to the next person and beat up the last guy?

  • thumbs up if your watching this from cherished childhood memeories :D

  • isnt this the segasaturn?

  • Wow! Sarah rocks!! Anyway, this game shows how the Dreamcast was well ahead of its time, and think this game doesn't even make good use of it.

  • got my dreamcast today cant wait to get all these great games

  • Visual improvements have been made with each release, but still...I kinda like the quirky, unrefined polygonal textures of the first two=)

  • Virtua Fighter is the KING of 3D fighting games! Plus is the 1st 3D fighter in history of videogames, SEGA got a Guiness record for that as well ;) Other fighters out there might be a lot of fun as well but not as close as what VF gives you. Every game in the series was a masterpiece not even ONE excluded! I hope VF5R will be ported for consoles.

  • I never saw fighting game with FPP mode.

Nice idea. I like this game need to buy someday.

  • Can I buy Virtua Fighter 3 on PS2 tell me, please

  • the best character to choose is kage, the ninja!

  • Pai is a chink...

  • It looks like a cool game but it seems to have a camrea problem

  • This game represents of my childhood. Where I can download it for PC? PLEASE HELP ME

  • is there anywhere i can download this for pc?

  • Pai's Song!! OMG... <3 <3

  • 1:46 you can't fuck around with me kid¡

  • Virtua Fighter 3 has much cooler stages than Virtua Fighter 4

  • This is a pretty cool once you get use to the moves.

  • Why I don't have music? And why it's slow on my PC?

  • I wish I could help you there. I'm not much of a PC gamer. Maybe you should reinstall your sound drivers and the game.

  • @GameHistoryX Or it is only dreamcast game?

  • @AalenveDenizli slow on your pc as was made for like windows 95 or 98, most systems back then used sound blaster or compatible drivers most new sound cards are 2 technical for this, u can run under compatibility mode may improve it or if there is a dos version download dosbox and it will run with full speed and sound

  • @AalenveDenizli If it's slow, it's maybe of your video card and the memory space, if it doesn't contains music, it's because you need the CD to hear it's music...

  • First time you can fight in 3rd person!

  • @Thekinggamelon It's been done in a Dragon Ball Z arcade game.

  • This is pretty graphically underwhelming for a Dreamcast game, compared to the likes of SoulCalibur anyway.

  • damn i remember as a kid i bought this with my dreamcast and i was stunned by the grapics going from a nes to this

  • Woa if you went from NES to Dreamcast that was a huge jump. I can only imagine you were probably dazzled by the graphics for a while. Dreamcast is a great system.

  • Yeah, I actually got this game after Soulcalibur and I was not impressed. I wander what happened, I remember Virtual Fighter 3 at the Arcade looked really good, it was on a 45"+ inch screen arcade machine.

  • @GameHistoryX - Am2 did not port this game and the graphics took a big hit. not to mention VF3 is from 1996 soul calibur is 1999 and that my friend is a great difference. VF3 was ahead of its time in 96.

  • @strykah92

Genki did the port. AM2 was busy with Ferrari F355 Challenge and Shenmue.

  • @Tippotipo Really? Damn didn't know that lol. The thing is wern't Shenmue and VF3 going to be Saturn games? If AM2 can deal with the Saturn's insanely complex architecture the surely it should've been a piece of piss to port it over to the Dreamcast themselves. Even Tekken 3 seems to look better than this.

  • @strykah92 AM2 Did not handle DC VF3. Genki did. It was a rushed port and does not show the Dreamcast's capabilities at all. What Sega should have done is released Saturn VF3, then made an enhanced version of VF3 (VF3 Evolution), using the Dreamcast's hardware fully. As ever, Sega made stupid decisions.

Given the very high texture detail in later DC games, VF3 on DC could have looked stunning. Dreamcast never got a true VF conversion that made the most of it IMHO.

  • @Relugus I know, that was my point, that AM2 SHOULD have handled this port. But either way I do agree that VF3 Saturn should of been released , then develop on DC what VF4 Evo was to VF4.

Still, this is nowhere near as much as a screw up as the VF5 sub-series has been.

  • @Relugus this conversion looked pretty close to the arcade, it was decent and VF3 on Saturn would have looked crap and been a terrible idea.

  • Great game. Remember playing this a loooong time ago;(

  • Are there any videos of the characters being knocked off the stages? I can't seem to find any.

  • loved vf2 but went back to 2d when this crap came out

  • I think Tekken and Virtua fighter are equal

  • Maybe equal in fun but they are the opposite in gameplay. Tekken you can get away smashing buttons but you will never win a fight in Virtua Fighter smashing buttons. It takes less strikes to take your opponent down but it has to be more calculated.

  • I dont button mash in tekken neither does anyone i play in it so therefore that means nothing to me.....

  • @GameHistoryX I never played tekken, but my friend has beaten me so many times just button mashing on virtua fighter 5

  • @GameHistoryX I know people who get away with mashing in VF, it all depends on the skill of their opponent as to if they get away with it.

  • @GameHistoryX Virtua Fighter is simply a Technical MONSTER in terms of gameplay far beyond every 3D game, i don't know much about VF5 just tried it when it came out on arcade when i was in China and never pushed the gameplay so far, but VF4 was still amazingly hard to master, lot of competition player who came from SC scene (Dan the nightmare) never shine on VF4 note the game was mostly GLITCH FREE unlike SC2 were only 4 or 5 character could shine on high level of competition.

  • @GameHistoryX ... I have witnessed people winning by smashing buttons... hell I did when I first played VF.

  • @GameHistoryX it all depends on how good at defense your opponent is.

  • @GameHistoryX i think tekken is better cause there are more moves you can perform while ur opponent is in the air

  • @amazerbeta Funny, that was one of my biggest gripes on tekken. It's annoying how many hits and how much damage you could juggle someone in tekken.

  • @GameHistoryX in VF the hits look too soft

  • @GameHistoryX

I feel the need to correct you on your statement, my friend. While it is true that Tekken (more specifically 2 and 3) were button-mashers, the latest games in the series require a great deal of timing, spacing, dexterity and anticipation. Sure, there still are a few button-mashing/spammer characters (such as Baek, Bob and Alisa) but all of the other characters require skill and mastery (the Mishimas, Jin, Miguel, Paul, Nina, etc.) It has changed over the years.

  • you are a button masher , right?

  • I´m jus talking the truth, evreyone knows that ''King of Fighters'' is born because of Street Fighter existance, the same for many figthing games in the world!

  • @thefury187 starting from the best, I would say Dead or alive, Tekken, the virtua fighter, I like them all :)

  • The guy at 0:27 is like tao pai pai lol xD

  • Whoever was playing Akira needs to shoot himself. Akira is the last person one should pick if they do not know how to play VF.

  • VF has far better gameplay when compared to Tekken.

  • tekken is a great game but compared to vf it is better, id say the most authentic fighting game out there

  • I like Tekken a lot, but it is indebted to Virtua Fighter.

Virtua Fighter is the godfather of 3D fighting games, and has influenced contless titles, Tekken being one of them.

  • it's the mother of all fighting games since it inspired or gave birth to other 3-d fighting franchises

  • It was the first fighting game in 3-D. I played this for the first time in 1993 at my local arcade after school.

  • @GameHistoryX thats what i said. hint "gave birth or inspired other fighting game franchises" thats why its called "mother of all 3-d fighting games"

  • sarah looks like a whore in this game

  • 888

  • It's funny

at 0:27 Sarah's like, "Oh! That's my cue!"

  • Dreamcast always had the best arcade conversions.

  • If you think about it, all sega consoles have the best arcade conversion.

  • Not with the Mortal Kombat games. Mortal Kombat 2 for Sega Genesis was pure shit compared tot he SNES and especially the arcade version.

  • @MegaFan1994

Same goes for most of SEGA's consoles.

  • What the freak was that sound at 3:38

  • flappy fart

  • Pretty good conversion for the Dreamcast.

  • Actually it would have been arcade perfect if Sega had ported the game themselves. Instead Genki was the company that ported the game for sega, because they were busy finishing up Shenmue and Sonic Adventure. The Dreamcast is based of the Naomi board which is much more powerful than the Model 3 board, which Virtua Fighter 3 is made.

  • Although the graphics are a lot worse, I think the stages are a lot more interesting than the ones in VF5. I do like VF5 though. :)

  • Great Job Dude!Keep up the good work.

  • man that triple knee below belt gotta hurt

  • Could you do one Sarah vs Akira! I will give

you a Subscribe in Sarah in Red.

  • The best Graphics .... I see better graphics in DOA2

  • Could you do one Sarah vs Akira!
