Madonna is great, and although it was a pisstake that at the wembley show, which i saw, there was loadsa problems with sound and she was 45 minutes late, you can't help but love her lol. Glad you filmed this bit cos i thought it was brilliant and loved the mix in of beat goes on.

I guess you simply can't encourage emotionally vulnerable minds to respond logically and rationally. It's such incapabilities that prohibit progression in our world. I'm pretty sure that Madonna and I have a similar, if not an identical political stance. However when witnessing similar videos at both the re-invention tour and confessions tour, as a logical person I couldn't help bit see the enormous gaps in her preaching. This could easily have been a scaled down echo friendly event, but her ego would not permit that. Why not just perform in an outdoor tent with a stage and speakers and then post that "get stupid" video on Youtube?

Madonna fails to understand that she lives in her own little world and that the rest of us are in fact more informed about the world than her. She frequently confesses to not paying attention to media (other than when she has direct involvement) and from the looks of it only discovered Africa around four years ago. She should listen to her better educated fans rather than preach to them. I love her and this track but she has a very limited understanding of the world.

This is not a positive message. If it were she would be saying clearly lets work together to make the world a better place. This is simply generic news clips strung together. Hitler thought he was doing good in the world, so is she condoning that too? This tour will have a massive carbon footprint, she's a massive hypocrite spreading the word of climate change while contributing heavily to the damage.

If you want some answers you can message me. Yes, I've been to several regions in Africa working with famine, poverty, medical aid (emphasis on treatment for AIDS). Am I being compared to Madonna, a woman who compares herself to the political figures she parades in the video as part of her huge million dollar vanity tour. If she really cared this concert would be exclusively for charity, that way we'd all be working together and the video would mean more. Love her as an entertainer though!

I love how nobody has attacked what I have said and have instead chosen to attack me as if my precise observations were indeed a character flaw. Is anyone going to respond to the notion that this tour will have immense carbon emissions and that Madonna is a hypocrite for asking others to make a change when she contributes so heavily to the damage of the world. At the same time, you don't know what the carbon footprint of the tour is. They may have made a conscious attempt at curbing some of their emmissions. Not a single event of this magnitude (concert, sporting event, political convention, etc) is going to be completely eco friendly, no matter what the intent.

There is no message. It's just her and a neutral news montage. There is no clear political stance. If she really wanted people to take charge of themselves and be more political then that video by no means says that. As usual she should keep politics out of entertainment as she is no good at it.
