Besides the creative barriers to innovation in renewable energy, it seems logical that harnessing natural abundant sources of energy would solve much of the economic problems that have gripped so many humans in fear. One such economic solution would be desalination of water to replenish the aquifers of the plains or bring clean water to the most impoverished villages. Its simply a matter of capture and storage. Just power one large metropolis with only renewable energy...Start small? Possible?
