Anything that requires you to plant your feet and center yourself could be made into a workable shooting stance. You'll see a lot of Israelis using this stance in combat, and I know you've heard of their win/loss record. Think early 90s' Chicago Bulls.

No no. Finnish bought a russian ak47, tare it apart and developed the rk62. Israeli Galil is based on rk62. This all can be read from a book "Arma Fennica" finnish military weapons. And they also tell us these things in the army when I served in "sissi-forces" as a sharpshooter team leader. But thats just what i read and heard.

Galil is pretty much a copy of the AK47 except for a few changes like charging handle is a different shape so it can be operated by either hand, it dosen't use tradational AK sights but peep sights like the M16 which most people prefer over the AK sights. And fires it a 5.56. And I forget to mention, it's a damn good copy of the AK.

The great thing about galil(beside the MAR) are the 7,62x51mm versions! The AR version in 7,62x51 is a horrible strong weapon. the standard 5,56mm ound has 1800J. the 7,62x39mm who is used by AK47 has 1991J. But the 7,62x51mm has 3500J! Today rifles like G3 or FAL are using that round for beining a semi auto sniper. And the ARM in 7,62x51 can also be used as a extreme strong assault rifle and a fast ligth sniper rifle!
