swtor is not that great now but i know bioware. they are known for putting the small things in games. card games, pod racing, extensive space expeditions. i wont be surprise if this will be implemented later on cause it was implemented in the original games.

@numerical25 but still in my opinion tor somehow lack star wars climate. Designers made poor job imo, some of the designs (armour, ships, enemies) doesnt fit Star Wars climate well. Oh and that art style.... I just hate it. ToR is a very good game, but I think it could do much more, especially because its Star Wars.

@Verithiell I think what you see is just the tip of the ice burg. They made the game very linear but I think they did this intentionally to focus on extending the game more dramatically then most MMO's. I do not like the game out of the box. But I believe it has potential. TOR did mention at launch that they will be expanding the space universe more. we will see. I loved SWG, I think it is probably the best Sony game made, and I dont think TOR tops it, but I think it can.

@148word Not yet it doesn't have JTL, give it time and it will. They already added atmospheric flight to TC Nova /watch?v=LibXsQBzY_c. atmospheric flight uses part of the same element used in JTL. its only a matter of time before JTL is fully possable. The flight element was the main part that was needed for JTL to work, The other part is space, and they are working on that as well.

@MisterChef711 SWG will never be dead if SWGemu has anything to do about it. To SOE SWG is dead, but not to its loyal fans, and thats where SWGemu steps in for the fans. TOR is just a new version of SWG with a lot ripped out. Let SOE go ahead and toss SWG away, SOE ruined it anyway with the CU and NGE updates. The fans will do a better job then what SOE could ever do with SWG. Screw TOR.

@kavuss Its still a great game, its a shame your opinion has been tainted by what was, and can't accept what is... I'd say give it a chance, but I doubt your opinion will change, but for people with blank slates of opinions, they may like this game, so don't discourage everyone you meet if you no longer like the game.
