Ummmm... I like Michelle, she is trying her own way to be a MUA, I like Sandy also, she is really a pro! Thats the way a pro MUA do their jobs, thanks for sharing. I will try to do make up for my mom with these tips. by the way, so sad that some ppl said old women should not wear make up... Everyone can wear make up if she likes so. The model is so elegant and beautiful, I wish I will be as pretty as her when go into my 40s.

Lip brushes and lip pencils are vital! lip brushes make the lipstick more easier to control and the lip pencil makes your lipstick last longer and not "bleed" I always wear lip liner! I love it.

@sandylinter1 Makeup artistry is just that - an Art-form & like any of the 'Arts' it is diverse & multifarious. I wish people were less narrow-minded! They ought not to compare your work to that of Michelle Phan. Yes she is gifted but honestly appeals to a specific age-group. Makeup is person-specific & is for EVERYONE to enjoy! Sandy Linter is an ICONIC MUA! So please peeps, a little more respect for this legendary Artist & approach makeup with an open-mind, be creative & have fun!

I know this is a basic lip tutorial, a lot of you find boring. However, I see too dark lip liner qit a lot. Maybe overdrawn and over glossed lips eww as well. So I did this vidoe with those girls in mind. I love watching Jercylicous do you watch that. But the makeup! is so un-cool. Love you guys on Jerseylicous, though. @sandylinter1 Well there are no rules ot makeup,only rules of thumb. I find dark lipliner/lipstick more flattering on lighter skin tones. Its not right to tell others how to wear blush,bronzer,foundation, everyone has their own makeup style that they love and suits them. I personally prefer matte, but I dont mind people who use gloss. The girls on Jerseylicious have their own style! they even said it on the reunion show.

@solacevy The tip is, is you are over 35, don't use dark lip liner. also, round the cupid's bow, don't make severe separated pointed cupid's bow. round the sides of the lips, and match the shade of liner to lip shade. Most women over 35 can do this and look hot & sexy. Or just simply perfect and that's good enough for me.

I think what she meant was that michelle is still very young in age, michelle obviously knows her face better than anyone which is why her makeup on her is amazing, but to apply makeup on another person and when they are above the age of 40 and to make it look amazing that must be a bit more of a challenge, as well as sandy linter has been in the industry for more than 30 years and so when being compared to michelle phan... give her a break, she knows what she's doing and its good.

I'm sorry to say that this is where Lancome doesn't look good -in HD. The model looked sweaty more than glowey, like she had been working out and then shot the ad. With all the advertising experience the staff at Lancome has, I'm surprised to see you let something like this air -even on youtube.
