eat out your heart ,top of the pops,no music programs on t.v any more, apart from the ones that promote, poor cover songs of simon cowells choice,we are controlled by everyone and no-one
Awesome. I remember this very well. This was the first time I had ever heard of Redd Kross. After this I went out and bought the single on 10' vinyl. It had a great version of It wont be long on the b-side. I ended up going to see them at ULU in London some years later with a strange fellow by the name of Door, who was massive into them.
@miniGMgoit Me too! I bought the album on cassette the next day. That shiny suit had a profound effect on me; I now dress much the same way on stage whenever possible. It's probably what led me to Roxy Music, as well as all the other fabulous power pop stuff these guys tapped into.
ha! no way, randomly thought of this song just now, i used to listen to this when i was a kid, it was on some random summer mixtape i got out of a bin outside of a local record store

they are so cool, by doing what is cool, not what people think is cool. If that makes any sense.

The Word is a show taylor-made for a band like Redd Kross. They just go so well together.
