@theweirdguy1992 funny thing bro, i dont use spells, the no equipments part sounds cool, i might try it :3, but seriously, why does we (the players) have to find a lots of complicated ways to make a game hard?, i mean, the other castlevanias (first ones only) got challange, most of the games got challange, its not hard to make a game hard, for me the difficulty its the only flaw of SotN, its way too easy unless you do something about it, and thats not the point, a game gotta be hard on its own
@theweirdguy1992 wanna make this clear, on my last post when i said ''most of the games got challange'' i meant from psx, back to oooold ones, new games are not half as hard as old ones, on old consoles you had to face a challange even on LJN games, now if you find a REALLY hard game you are lucky
@theweirdguy1992 btw, im attemping a Castlevania SotN Animal vs The World thing (just made up the title) whats that up to? as soon as you get your first transforming ability (wolf or bat, mist is useless to battle on the FIRST castle) only fight bosses transformed, it totally works, if you run out of mp just parry every atack till you get enough bar, obviously you need to get the atks for each transformation before doing bosses but its cool for most of the bosses when you can fight 'em this way

Yes,it is challenging. Maybe for some it isn't. But after having played 3d games for a while
you do get spoiled. I must admit that the RPG elements and the save points do make the game much easier. Compared to other Castlevania games it is definitely the easiest. Still it is no cakewalk. You do need to do some grinding and make good use of the familiars if you can't be troubled to find equipment.
@brucebeertje man i guarantee this: start a new game (SOTN), kill just ONCE every enemy on every room that you walk through while trying to go to draculas room (richter in the first castle), and you will have beaten the game with no problem, also use bat familiar, since its my favorite one instead of sword one XD
@brucebeertje man i agree, at ''high'' levels the defense suck, low enemies do give you hits but, take into consideration, at max lv (after 10000000000 hours getting exp) you will be untouchable XD, still yeah, i love the game, but its challenge is that much of a nintendo wii game
And this is why sotn is far too easy.

i recently beaten galamoth in a retarded way:

And even at higher levels the defence still is awful. Even the lower enemies can do some damage to Allucard.
