My pops has the XK-3,and the keys do make that much noise. I have a (newer Korg CX-3) and had a Roland VK-7 and they make about the same amount on noise. I guess it depends on how hard you hit the keys! If I remember right, a B3, C3 or M3 will make the same amount of noise, depending on how old, or hard the key felt is.

well,you can tweak just about any parameter on this instrument so you can have as much or as little key click "noise" as you want, and that's just the way I like it,nuff said.

i was talking about the action, and the noises the plastic produces when pulled back by the spring.
