On cable TV Friday night, the Smackdown replay ranked #7 overall, #17 among males 18-34, and #10 among males 18-49. In its timeslot, Smackdown was #2 behind ESPN's college football coverage of the TCU vs. Baylor game among adult males.

I liked Smackdown this week; it was booked like Raw and felt like Raw. SD is normally a throwaway show full of long matches, but light on anything interesting, so it ends up boring me into not watching it. HHH/Punk promo was really good and the Orton/Christian match was pretty good too. There wasn't any time for random BS matches this week. If SD was like this on a regular basis, I'd consider watching it, live or not. I'd give tonight's show a B, which is much higher than usual for SD.
