  • hey look at that.. the air bag works

  • can i have the rear wheels please?

  • the 1997-2005 Buick Park Avenue was assembled in

    Hamtramck, Michigan, United States

    Lake Orion, Michigan, United States

  • And may I also add that the Buick Park Avenue as of now is the least pulled over vehicle in America. THats the GM I got to know and love. Screw thier new crap.

  • i had a Lesabre the little brother to the park ave and it got totaled in a near head on crash it was a 98 airbags did deploy but even tho there gen 2 still nice and strong but my windows where shut and the wreck left no broken windows the airbag smoke filled the car so i had to kick out my window to climb out of the wreck no injury's except pain in my left side and rashes from the bags

  • that thing is a boat.

  • Wow the windsheild had not a crack on it.

  • wow this is gud for a full size sedan Imagine all the smart cars and yaris's bouncing off that thing

  • IT HURTS TO LOOK!!!!

  • The 1991 park avenue had the lowest injury claims of cars then.

  • Because only old people who drove too slowly to crash into anything drove them!

  • @mchlfgn17 was the better built then the newer ones? what do u think of he oens from the 80s?

    thanks

  • @randomrazr The 'Park Avenue 'nameplate was used as a top trim level of the Buick Electra until in 1991 when it became a standalone model, replacing the electra. So the ones from the 80s were 'buick electras' before 1991

  • @mchlfgn17 well that doesnt really answer my question but

yeah i knoew park avenue was a trim , but bcause it was badged park avenue everwhere, i just call it park avenue. higheslt luxury trim offered for this model, excluding the ultra trim thatwas offered in 89

  • @randomrazr Well i can say both the electra and park avenue were built very well, the nhtsa crash test rating for the electra was 5 star for the drivers side, no information about the passenger side rating though, but these were both strong cars

  • @mchlfgn17 how come

  • @mchlfgn17 I have a feeling that was because a large percentage of Park Avenue drivers back in 1991 a: rarely drove their vehicles other than to the market and church, b: rarely, if ever, drove at speeds above 50MPH, and c: Didn't even realize they were injured in an accident due to the numbing effect of a whole tube of Ben-Gay...

  • ouch

  • haha. i have a park avenue.

but its a 1989. i dont think it has airbags, but the thing is a fuckin BOAT, so i think i will be safe. lol.

  • @need4speed39566, a '89 is a boat' Try a '84 or earlier. '89s weren't even full size by today's standards.

  • @shred5 i had a 1976 electra limited, about a foot longerr than the 1978 park avenue that we used to have, and about 2 feet longer and probably 1000 pounds heavier than the 1998 that my grandma has

  • i totaled mine today... no joke~ good thing its full covered by my ins

  • not half bad for the time

  • Great for the time.

  • It was actually rated a best pick at the time. It did better than a good amount of cars that year including the 97 MB E-Class.
