  • Great film! My thought is that the coldest day is prolly lots better than the warmest day

  • Perry Hill farm where they were moving was farmed by my 4th Great Grandfather, Abraham Spencer (1751 - 1839) and his wife Fanny (Leney). I'm not sure if they "owned" the farm, or if his predecessors or descendants farmed it. Today the farm is a large Nursery in lovely, quiet countryside.

  • Can anyone tell me why these farmers were relocated like this? I should be very grateful for an answer. Thanks in advance...

  • Fascinating video.

I don't know how often these farm relocations occurred, but I do know there was one from Tetbury to Scotland in around 1961.

  • Thank you very much for these.

  • that was amazing footage A********

  • Nostalga ain't what it used to be! Won't see snow like that again 5*
