I dont know exactly if Kinnear deserves to be called a douchebag for this interview. I think Henry Rollins is being incredibly generous towards him. And they both make the best of it. Also I seriously doubt it would be the type of show to really get into Henry Rollins time with Blag Flag and everything that happened during his time with the band. Kinnear had his own TV talk show? This sort of posting has become a pretty token assignment considering it seems that everyone that does a few movies here and there suddenly wants to and becomes a talk show host, for better or worse. It just seems to add more things of next to no value on TV.

okay i would like to retract my last comment. Now that i watch this more it seems like Greg was just being a typical TV friendly interviewer. He should not have read THAT passage from Henry's book because Henry didnt have a chance to really explain what it all meant. HOW DO YOU explain that on regular national television in (what seems 2 B ) less than a minute?

The timing does seem pretty pre-meditated, doesn't it? But I think Rollins did a great job of responding and I'm lad the question was asked. I don't advocate people inflicting pain on themselves, but I can relate to it. We've all done it, just maybe not in the same form. Sadly, I think a lot of people aren't going to get Henry's point no matter how long he would have talked about it.
