I know Thom Yorke and Radiohead are immensly popular today, but I'm hoping that in the future it'll be pieces like this, and albums like Kid A and In Rainbows that our generation will be remembered for. We have a lot of garbage on the radio, but underneath it all there is a lot of beautiful, magical music being made. People see the '60s as pop music's peak, but if you ask me, I think we're just as good today. Case in point: Radiohead are today's Beatles.

In my opinion, the quantity of beautiful musicians will decrease over time, but their quality will continue to increase... all the way until there is only one good musician in the world and everyone will wake up to the crap they listen to as the dawn of another musical renaissance approaches. Creative quality, historically speaking, cycles like this- just like everything else in the universe.
