  • *-* nice music

  • The beginning reminds me of A Link to the Past for some reason.

  • Man this takes me back...

  • this definitely brought back a lot of memories for wild arms and alter code f

  • I never really my german last name Hyder and how I have to spell it out for everybody and I never really liked being called Matt, among other things so I feel like getting a name change, but maybe if I kept it I could have a baby named Adel Hyder, like Adlehyde. :)

  • I just wished that i got a band and play this song in the school the street and the church its feels to good if the people enjoys this song i just wished that everybody supports this song (Thank you for uploading this song)

  • It always look like Aldehyde Castle

  • Most people forget about Wild Arms One lost in the obscurity of the past. However it was originally created as mainly a "Tide me over" type game until FFVII came out. In my opinion FFVII and this game are even in many ways...but just the sheer way this game came accross and the fact I can still pick it up and not have to level up over 9000 materia really pushes this one over the top.

This one is also more traditional which I love about it...and the music is amazing.

  • sometimes the intro sounds like suikoden... but this came first right? whichever, i love this one , it has many instruments in it.

  • @danxiie

Suikoden came first, by a little, it was released in 1996 in EU/NA while Wild Arms was released in 97/98, but still... this is a very memorable castle theme.

Always makes me think of this game. :)

  • They certainly don't make them like they used to.

  • The first four notes of the main melody are the same as the first four in the Golden Sun main theme melody! :D

  • I feel like home. One of my favourites in the first Wild ARMS, but saying that is pretty much comparing a masterpiece to another.

  • Everybody...."Ten Hut!!!!"

  • This music should be played @ ceremonies when soldiers return home from war!!!!

  • i love thiz GAME and track <3 <3 <3

  • such a harmonic symphony. game nowadays are all graphic, they don't put any soul on the music.

  • @rahxun Well, actually, I do listen to alot of olde VGM and new VGM. Olde VGM is better because it is origional, but New VGM is more either orchestrial or more like of a movie Soundtrack. I love both, but i'd have to say that olde is more original, therefore, better by those standards.

  • Iv listened to so much video game classicals, i can almost predict what the next sound is most of the time. even if i never heard it before.

  • Wow, this does bring back good times.

  • I'm a massive fan of the first wild arms game. Would you consider putting the "courage" theme into your list as well?

  • thanks for uploading this, so much memories with this game :)

  • Best Castle Theme, am I right? :)

  • Very right.

  • I almost got a tear in my eye from listening to this, I really shouldn't have clicked on this, brings back too many memories.

  • The beginning of this track feels a lot like the original Suikoden.

  • I need to play Wild Arms again because for some reason this song doesn't sound like Wild Arms to me.

  • Omg, I forgot about the Mana series composers! Legend of Mana's art and music is a masterpiece!

  • Sweet memories !

  • That one is a classic! One of the best song in the original Wild Arms!

    Good choice

  • epic song! <3 I luv this game soo much! :D

  • Reminds me of that Secret of Mana song that plays after beating a boss or restoring a place back to peace.

You should check out Wild Arms XF's music!

And I still see no Wild Arms 2 here :X

  • <3 Wild Arms, no matter how much crap it gets. The music was amazing. I highly recommend the music that plays in the Elw world. Best piece in the game, imo.

  • this sounds a little bit like pokemon

(like the music on the nugget bridge in pokemon red/blue/yellow)

  • The tone of the lead strings sounds like something out of the first Breath of Fire.

  • this game did rip off some its music... like the overworld theme is totally from this western movie, who's name escapes me.. This theme sounds suspiciously like the theme of a 1970's tv show

  • Gunsmoke? Have Gun Will Travel?

  • Well, I didn't mean the actual music itself, just the tone; the way it sounds. :-P

  • The piece you're talking about is "The Ecstacy of Gold" from The God, The Bad and The Ugly.

    It was composed by Morricone.

To my knowledge, the rest of the OST is original.

  • One of the Mother themes is almost directly ripped off from Cheyenne's theme in Once Upon a Time in the West.

  • Great Female Composer michiro naruke IS the best!

  • Yes!

  • Yep. ^^

    Nobou Uematsu (Final Fantasy)

    Junya Nakano (Threads of Fate)

    Michiko Naruke (Wild Arms)

Akari Kaida (Breath of Fire III)

Are the best video game composers ever! ^^

  • Ever play anything other than RPG's?

There's a whole other world out there young man.

  • Yeah, like Bomberman and Megaman and tha music is good too. I also played Banjo Kazooie and so on. (Though I guess their sort of RPGs...) Or idk... RPGs are my favorite though. It's what I like to play the most. It feels like I need more to play to replace a lot of the Non-RPG games I've played.

  • Dont forget David Wise(Donkey Kong Music)

  • That's good too. Stickerbrush Symphony is awesome. ^^ I was thinking about mentioning Koji Kondo too (Mario and Zelda Composer). By the way, Nobou Uematsu is also in Blue Dragon! ^^

  • Indeed! That's my all time favourite... especially DKC 1 and DKC 2

  • and whats about Zelda?

no soundtrack is better than zelda !

  • and what about zelda? no game has a better soundtrack than zelda :o hard but true

  • Comment removed

  • Forgot to mention among them one (if not the first) of the best out there: Yasunori Mitsuda

  • Cool. ^^ I just looked up that person did Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, the first and second Shadow Hearts, the first Xenosaga, and also the first Mario Party. ^^ And with another person, even Bomberman 64: The Second Attack! :D And I heard a few people don't like the series music and that makes me sad. :(

  • Hmm... how many people like Motoi Sakuraba, the Star Ocean, Eternal Sonata, and Tales of series composer?

  • Did the composer make the Chrono music too?! He's a genious...

  • Yes, Naruke is amazing but so is Yoko Shimomura as well. :)

  • Yoko Shimomura i like her capcom music from megaman 5 to streetfighter series.

  • I should go download this song if I can find it. Otherwise, awesome song!

  • It was played during the festival I believe, correct?

  • It's been some time since you've done a Wild Arms (original, not the sequels or anything) one, hasn't it? Has a great old school feel.

  • Yep, last time was BEst VGM 100. :P Great and classic soundtrack.

  • Kinda sounds like it could be a Mega Man sound if it were sped up a little bit.

  • ???
