it's kinda funny that the huge race is at santa anita racetrack because i live in arcadia and go to arcadia high and the arcadia high graduation is held at the santa anita racetrack

@VivaLaEquus lol all other high school graduations are, like, at disneyland and stuff, so disneyland closes at 10 and the high schoolers get the whole night. at the racetrack, though, we have tons of fun stuff too like a free boba stand, free in'n'out, free smoothies, and obstacle course, a fake marriage booth, a jousting ring, and lots more. i don't know if it's the same every year, but cuz last year's theme had something to do with superheroes and hollywood stars or something like that

@mitzi32996 Wow we have nothing like that. All we do at our graduations is get our scholarships and diplomas and then they show a slideshow of our sr and baby pics.

@VivaLaEquus well, our school is kinda huge. like, our graduating class is probably around 800 people, and they hand out diplomas at 3 different stations. then, after the ceremony, everyone goes home and the seniors go back to the ractrack at night after everything's set up.

i love this movie, my father was a jockey from 1948 until the 1960's now i have his pictures in his room he has had many strokes since those days and can never ride again , but he remembers his horse riding days we talk about them often. he still loves to watch the sport , always will,

@dhom100 He didn't eat a lot and still stay thin. Like all of them he suffered incredibly to keep the weight down and probably put long term damage onto his system. Poor George Woolf had diabeties and definitely weakened his heart and died early because of the way they had to eat, or not, to keep the weight off.
