i am so subscribing! ive been looking for someone that straightens their hair every week. I'll be catching up on ur videos! and we both do our hair on fridays lol
@thelawofsinging thank you, the name of the brush is flatterME, im sorry i dont know the name of the company, it rubbed of of my brush. My dad bought it from a hair show in chicago.
@19sandee The allegro iron is their non professional line. I think its great for touching up your hair between styles but if your serious about styling your own hair at home, then i would most defiantly suggest the presto turbo.
@19sandee youtube wont let me post a link in the comment box but I did post the web address to both my sites in the description of this video. If you have problems finding it there, I will post it on my channel.
@musiclover0325 Im not sure. The vivace iron was on sale for a week, for like $85. The presto turbo is more expensive but it works really good. The lowest I can ever go on that one would be like $120-$128 with free shipping. its listed now for 158.99....It comes with a free gift and tons of free samples. I will be putting it back on sale next week.
@missbellab0708 Those products aren't bad. The pros are, they were made for textured strands, which means they have more moisturizers than products that weren't designed for textured strands like Herbal Essence or Suave, or tresseme. However, they are not as good as mizani, sebastian, joico, or affirm. If I had to add 3 essentials to your list of products i would add Affirm 5 in 1 reconstructor, Mizani hydrafuse, and mizani thermastrength leave in conditioner. These are healthy hair must haves.
Thanks so much for this video. The tips you provided about using a satin scarf after your workout have been a godsend for me for the past few days. Love your channel!!!!!
Wow you are amazing!..Im saving everything that you suggested for me to use and im gonna give it a try. I just wanna say thank you so much for taken the time out to explain and answer everything, and then some! You just reminded me why I subscribe to you in the first place! I just want you to know, for you to take the time out of your day to write me back is very appreciated thank you so much. Take Care and many Blessing from a Happy Subbie! : )
Great video!..Im gonna try that method today!..But I did have one question for you Im new to bein natural, 5 months today! I was wondering what products did you use or do you use to help tackle your new growth cuz HONEY..Smh it's a jungle in there..And im tryin to only use heat once no more than twice a month. And my hair is kinda thick and dry so if you have any suggestions on products to use please do tell! Thanx once again great video! : )
@Shaluv21 If your hair is dry and hard to manage, giving it the proper moisture should make your hair a bit more managable. The more you straighten your hair the more managable it will become as well. Once your relaxed hair is all gone, the styling process should become even easier and you will have a chance to really get to know your natrual curl pattern and what they need to look and feel their best. I really believe in using quality products that is created to help manage your hair type.
@Shaluv21 I pretty much recommend all the products that I have in my online store but for you i would say you should get a good hydrating oil like KeraCare esstential oils, or Agadir oil. I would mix that with rose h20 hairdress while styling, focussing on your roots to help them stay smooth. I would also use mizani hydrafuse as a hydtrating conditioner. A great leave in that will keep your roots in line would be luster silk hair culture. I straighten my hair once every 5 days.
@Shaluv21 The more often you straigten your strands, the more heat trained your hair will become. Heat isn't really the issue in most cases, especially if your putting heat on clean protected strands. The issue is ussually low quality products that aren't designed for your strands and low quaility tools that don't get the job done. I use a n h2pro presto turbo straigtening iron and blow dryer. I hope this helps:-)
I love your videos!!! Thank you so much! Question: Can you address weaves? Do you think weaves are bad? I wear a full weave and my entire head is all braided up? Is this bad for my hair?
@ThatchickLC Thank you! I will do a video on weaves, I'll try to get it done soon. Anything can be bad for your hair if not done the right way. As long you give yourself a deep conditioning treatment in between weaves. Examine your hair between styles, make sure your hairline isn't thinning, and your hair isn't thinning all over.nas long as you monitor the health of your hair, you should be fine. I will do a video soon to adress other concerns.
