I believe you are right. I had similar thoughts too but I think there good melodies today too but not on the same level as before and not as much. Maybe when we look back at today music in the future!

I believe there is Harmony when the artist and the band join whether the band was given the music to play or not. The believe the band is as important as the artist as they all contribute to one another. I think it's also a good idea to hear the bands & artist's point of view since they are the ones involved in the music.

Mamush I honestly advise you to be cool & a wide-angled viewer and by the way try to have as home work which music (of him) are being loved nowdays; the songs that he played previousely with bands like Ethiopiques & Roha or the revised/remixed songs of today?
