"The Royal Scottish Piper's Society" -- one of the most absolutely badass tunes ever written for bagpipes -- is very powerful when heard live, performed by a good band. I like that LA Scots play this Roddie Campbell classic, which, as Jim McGillivray has rightly observed, is "sadly underplayed". Jim also informs us that after Campbell composed it, he died soon after, later in that year (1937). Seems he was getting transcendent inspiration for this amazing piece. Very cool march-off tune too.
