"Now the Island is named after birds anyone know what?" - ooh ooh I know, Pelicons.
Thanks for the video tour OFB, even if I don't go to visit i've always got this to fall back on. I'd like to have seen or heard more about Frank Morris but i'll save my money up and visit Alcatraz and see, providing it isn't knocked down or transformed into something else at the time.
place is closed because it never made any sense at all. it reminds me of my music teacher who had a foot fetish and he lobbied my grammar school for a rug.when you went to band you had to take off your shoes. same as using this as a prison. real sicko's wanting to service thier fetish.
DreamoraSgt, Hey there thank you so much for the compliments! I can't wait to start cranking out some more vids real soon! Thanks again for watching my vids:) -Dean
perbian, hey there! Thanks for watching and compliments! I have two accounts OneFiveDoor and OneFiveBore. OneFiveBore is my special interest channel which can be quite boring to many but enjoyed by others.I keep my artsy and zany work over on OneFiveDoor and put my nature and most documentary vids here. Adding this video to OneFiveBore was just a way to link the two channels together one time I guess. Half the time I do not even know what im doing! lol
thank you so much for the 2 videos (part 1 and 2). I went to San Fran years ago, but we had no idea that we should have booked a tour in advanced, when we got there, they were booked solid for the days we were there and never got to tour it. your videos filled that 'hole' that i left the bay with. so thank you!!!
Alcatraz 1998 Parts 1 & 2 are an excellent insight into this fascinating piece of American history. Pity the authorities haven't yet realised that as this is such a huge tourist puller that some careful upkeep and general maintenance would greatly enhance this attraction. Left as is it will soon crumble into the bay.
Thank you so much for your comment! The more and more I think about it I believe your right! This video can be used as a visual reference for the future and a historic film!. Feels good to make a video of substance and one that can be appreciated in this manner. Thank you again for your compliment.
My pleasure, and thanks for your return comments! :o)
You are quite right about your historical reference being of great significance, especially in the years to come. Have you considered approaching the people who administer the historical side of Alcatraz as a tourist attraction? They might be interested in your film or commissioning you specially to create a new film? Just a thought.
