  • I usually finish the siphon with my hand. She uses her mouth to syphon. Shes the Bomb.!!

  • What I've always done is filled my tubing with sanitizer, which provides the gravity needed to suck up your beer. Once you lower your tubing, the sanitizer will drain out (into a separate bowl) and bring the beer up as well. Once it starts flowing purely beer I'll pinch the tube closed, transfer the tube into my secondary vessel, and let it go.

  • Good idea with the stopper. I just made an order with you guys,

  • why dont u turn upside down 0.o

  • I have bought stuff from Midwest and I like that he includes a video with his products and that some of it is online but show us how to do something already. All of his video is talk he never even brews beer in the video. To me this kind of defeats a how-to video.

  • Honestly, I used to use an auto-siphon, but after numerous times, having the siphon stall, I bought a carboy cap. It's simply the easiest and quickest way to start a siphon.

Put a stainless racking cane through the center hole, sanitize the whole thing, insert into the hold of the carboy and seal, then blow in the other hole. Done.

  • @godspunk32 I do something similar with stoppers and a racking cane. 2 stoppers with 2 holes in them. I use 4 liter jugs, so I cut my racking cane in half. Top half of racking with cap goes in top bottle. Bottom half of racking cane is in stopper on lower bottle. In the other hole on the stopper I have a tiny section of racking cane with tubing. Suck on that small section of tubbing to create a vacuum to get the siphon going. This is easy enough to do with carboy caps and 2 racking canes.

  • Love the wedge idea. Saves you from having to hold it! Good job!

  • several of your videos cut off

  • kay why don't you store it on it's side so the sediment settles in a corner?

  • This has made my life a little easier..
