There are ten nations in the world that grant full marriage rights to all of their citizens: the Netherlands, Belgium, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Canada, South Africa, Spain, Portugal and Argentina. Israel has de facto same sex marriage, for it recognizes unions performed in other countries. The same applies to Mexico, for all states there are required to recognize marriages performed in Mexico City. The United States will soon find itself amongst this enlightened group.
