What a beat up. It's standard police practice all over the world for undercover officers to infiltrate those elements of a protest/riot that present a threat of violence. The aim is to identify and arrest violent agitators. Of course, in doing so they have to dress like and APPEAR to behave like the agitators. Did they actually do anything illegal? No. If anarchists hijacked the protest you would thank those cops for being in there.

He was wearing a badge from a chain and he had 2 other UC's with him. They searched my vehicle for drugs or weapons but didnt find anything. They did however find an empty beer can. The next day the OPP/RCMP/Toronto Police moved in and smashed the people protesting and some even not involved. What a beat up. It's standard police practice all over the world for undercover officers to infiltrate those elements of a protest/riot that present a threat of violence. The aim is to identify and arrest violent agitators. Of course, in doing so they have to dress like and APPEAR to behave like the agitators. Did they actually do anything illegal? No. If anarchists hijacked the protest you would thank those cops for being in there.

Actually, scottmck72, if you've seen the video taken during the rally, you'll see that only 4 legitimate protesters are dressed in faggot facemasks, and that the remainder are just plain clothes men and women.
The police, by dawning their warlike wardrobe, while clutching weapons (nobody else there was), was inciting violence merely by being visible, at the forefront. Having those cops around would also malign the peaceful protesters image, from an outsiders view.

I have a question for you guys here. I live in ontario, canada. Today I got pulled over by an undercover police officer driving a chevy malibu. He was wearing a badge from a chain and he had 2 other UC's with him. They searched my vehicle for drugs or weapons but didnt find anything. They did however find an empty beer can. I didn't get fined for it but they did take the empty can with them. I wanna know why would they take the empty can?

Technically, my tax dollars haven't paid for this since I haven't lived in Canada for 7 years now... However, no matter what country, this is just wrong... The officers and anyone giving the commands for this should be fired and not ever be allowed to be part of any police force in the future... There are many jobs out there, but there's no reason we should reward people like this with a full pension after 25 years of this type of "service"...
