  • wow she sure is good at mincing garlic...

  • 4 chips? Omfg I could eat that whole batch easy.

  • All the great things come out of Middle East: Islam, Christianity, Food, Technology, Art, Architecture, Music, Culture, Oil ;)

  • looks absolutely delicious. but calling it hummus when it doesn't have chickpeas in it is just weird to me.

  • Ive made those "chips" aka crisps they are so tatsy

  • that's like an ounce of coating. that would coat three chips. also there is no need to measure olive oil! that's just fanatical, just eyeball it

  • guapa!

  • oh i know what it is that makes her look weird.....it looks like she is flaring her nostrils all the time! i couldn't put my finger on it but that's what it is.....

  • i'm not even going to begin to complain about how calling this "hummus" is a sin against the entire mediterranean. the reason i am not going to complain about it is because this woman is clearly out of her mind. who the FUCK eats four chips at a time.

  • @bluelikekrishna hahahahah pplz that "count" their calories!

  • @bluelikekrishna

People who only have four chips? Thanks for rubbing in my poverty, jerk ;)

  • @bluelikekrishna Rofl, you mad bro?

  • She is the anti-Paula Deen. LOL

  • @SpankRamen2

    There can only be one!

  • Ellie is the perfect woman.

  • I am not a big fan of hummas but was starving and had all the ingredients so I made the recipe. This tofu edamame hummus concept turned out great! I did it with regular tofu and an immersion blender, however, so mine was a very hearty "hummus" like the real thing. I ran out of olive oil so I used canola oil and walnut oil (extra omega-3 and little flavor). Salt wasn't in the recipe, but I added some.

I didn't season my pita. Quick and healthy. I love it.

  • I am in love with Ellie. She is SO beautiful and sexy! I would eat whatever she put before me. Ellie and a biscuit....mmmmm!

  • ellie, sweetheart, baby....I have some ideas about a "grab and go meal"....call me!

  • Love Ellie's healthy recipes!!

  • Going to her house for dinner would suck, Nothing she makes ever looks appetizing. That said, I would love to put my face in her ass crack..

  • a little obsessed with the low fat thing I find

  • ellie has delicious healthy foods. i love her and so Ina garten.

  • I wouldn't call it hummus without chickpeas, however it still looks yummy and I want to try it! :)

  • @awesomevegan tahini too...

  • stfu about the chickpeas damn

  • woww she butchered the original hummus....

  • Sexy lady... She reminds me of a cross between Anne Archer / Kathleen Quinlan / and an elf.

  • I agree. LOL.

  • Who cares about her food! There's only one thing she has that I want to eat in the first place, and it for damn sure isn't her spicy hummus.

  • The only thing from this vid that looks gorgeous is Ellie. I dunno about her food but damn, what a MILF.

  • original hummus is made with chick peas!

  • L♥ved it, it l☺☺ks delicious!

  • *BARF*

  • *BARF*

  • None of her foods seem to have any flavor. They're all so..sterile.

  • True, it's more a dip than a hummus, just like a martini without gin isn't a martini. Still, this looks tasty! I'm going to try it, but with wasabi powder. Japanese hummus?! :-)

  • she should just call it edamame dip or something, it is pretty obviously not hummus :\

  • i agree, it looks kinda yummy, but you cant call it hummus without the tahini or chickpeas.

  • For the record, hummus means chickpea. So while you absolutely can have hummus without tahini(as is often the case in many parts of the middle east), making hummus without chickpeas is a cosmic impossibility. Garlic doesn't give it a classic hummus taste, it gives it a classic garlic taste. Hummus(chickpeas) gives it a classic hummus taste. This woman is an embarrassment to food.

  • agreed.

  • can some one mail me the ingredents for the chips and dip im planing on makeing it for snaks snice i gotta start eatting healthy plz and ty

  • yay! more food to even take on the go way to make us fatter! how awesome! ...way to lose cholesterol, eat more food! right!

  • dulani to on baby

  • I though was a music vid opps

  • omg. why doesnt she try to do cultural foods right. hummous can only be done with chick peas....nothign esle.

way to skrew up our culture.

  • I agree. How can she call that 'hummus'. 'Well, time for my carrot cake but that has carrots, and then drink this beer that is really just water.'

200 calorie snack! Seems kind of steep, maybe shouldn't have put all that oil in there.

  • I KNOW!!!! The very word MEANS chickpeas!!! There isn't even tahini in that! Why even make it with anything else anyways? Chickpeas are wicked healthy! Hommous with kmaj provides all the amino acids necessary to sustain human life.

  • She's got amazing looks but she has a voice of a little girl. Maybe she's just got a cold.

  • omg Ellie Krieger is rediculously sexy. I'd like to try her little bits.

  • hahahaha

  • I love Hummus!

  • Ellie, you should give voice lessons to young women, badly needed in the U.S. today! You have a lovely voice, lots of resonance, and you don't "quack" through your nose. Seriously, give it a thought.

  • Looks pretty good, and easy to customize. I'd probably replace some of the Olive oil in the "hummus" with tahini, or add the Olive oil and lemon after portioning out the dip, as is fairly common with traditional hummus. Also, I like to make my pita chips thinner by separating the sides of the pita. I might also add some paprika, but this is a pretty good starting point to make your own edamame spread.
