Small bit of comics trivia here for anyone interested. The two comicbook panels at 2:59 just above Spidey standing over The Spoiler with Aunt May & Doctor Octopus are taken right out of Amazing Spider-Man issue 54 'The Tentacles and the Trap' from November 1967 with John Romita Sr art
It was recently reprinted in the tpb reissue of The Amazing Spider-Man Marvel Masterworks Vol 6

Spidey's head gets hit with a hammer and then Spidey smashes The Spoiler's head into a brick wall, cool 70's violence!

Hey Nanto I have always wondered. Are those real comic books or just props?
zacandtaylorrule 1 year ago
@zacandtaylorrule I can answer that. They are actually drawings based on actual covers or panels from The Amazing Spider-Man comic book.
