i had trouble getting from the boat to the chopper. tried it 3 times going full speed with no errors. then tried doing it with fraps going to lower my fps (to 9 fps >_>) and it worked. so thanks.

GUYS! HERES HOW TO FIX YOU CANNOT GO INTO THE HELPCOPTER!

If the FPS is like 60 or around it, theres a glitch you can't go in. So, use Fraps, limit the FPS to 30. Then, when your supposed to press space lots of time, record it.

the first time i tried this i got on but then they shot down my chopper. since then i cant get under the fuckin boat! theres only one diffrence i noticed. when i did get on the chopper i was driving the red boat with the big thing on the back of it. it can be seen at 3:00. the other boat i guess isnt fast enough or sumthin

@SilkroadGaz I think your getting confused, you are supposed to fall in the water then jump into the boat. After that Lil' Jacob picks you up in the chopper, that is when you pull yourself up.

@MKwan82 Yes, just set the fps to 30, hit record and do the mission. Or record only when you're getting on the chopper. It does work, because somehow pressing the space bar is linked to your fps.

@strahinjjja Sorry i never had problems with reaching the chopper, but i guess down is faster. You could also try downloading some mod that will make boats faster. There are plenty mods like that.

In the movies settings you can set the fps, it's on the right side 25, 30, 50, 60. Then when you record you get the fps that you chose.

I think it was on high settings when i recorded this, but later i put some things to medium and lowered shadow density or something to get the fps more steady, because sometimes it dropped quite alot when alot of items were on the screen.

i hated this mission sort of, because i shot at the guy who kicks you off the helicopter, cause my auto aim aimed at him, and when i got kicked off, i hit the water and instantly died!! so i lost my close match of 1,000,000 and had to redo the rest besides the car chase.

so tip, it was my issue i think but dont shoot anyone after u climb the top of the roof and see the helicopter.. odd glitch though, wonder why the boat explodes....???

For all of you complaining about the bug-I experienced it too. You need to hold back on the left analog stick to gain speed, then as soon as you see Jacobs chopper, stick to the left. Then when he starts desending, drive underneath while still holding back the analog stick. Yaaay!

I always kill dimitri instead of doing the deal. If you do the deal,m Roman dies, If you don't kate (a new girlfriend, Patrick mcreary's sister) dies. So just saying to you people who hadn't finished. Get revenge

the only reason why u all choose revenge is because u wanted to let roman live. but think after u completed the game the only time u c roman is when ur hanging out with him which no one is interested in doing so why do u all care if roman lives or dies? just because u lose roman doesn't make the revenge ending better than deal. i think deal goes better along with the story u loose a major character and u kill dimitri at the end as it should be pegorino wasnt much of an antagonist

this mission is really shit. i dont get this bug, but its at the same point i either get;

1) dmitri fires a missle immediately and befor ei have a chance to move, i die

2) the copter just falls straight away, no matter how much gas/direction i give it

i wish i could skip it, its such a shame a great game is spoiled by such an awful ending mission. the fact that you have to repeat all the casino shoot each time is a real bore too. it should restart from when you are in the boat!

Do what i did - use fraps to limit the fps lower, i put it 30fps. It's a weird bug, the higher your fps is, the faster you gotta tap space, or whatever key was it. So with fraps you can get on the chopper. :)
