Hidden iOS 5 Features #8 - Emoji

i updated my iphone to iOS5 and when i send emoji icons to iphones with iOs4 they appear as boxes can anyone help me with this issue.... thanks!

i could use them on my second gen ipod touch in canada bought in canada and it worked

and i did every ting you did so nothing new

don't you have to download emoji from the app store, or does it come pre-installed on iOS 5?

@Dxrdabest it's preinstalled in ios5 with all the other keyboards

Also to note:

These Emoji's are different to last emojis (weirdly).

If you send an emoji, people on iOS4 or OS X Snow Leopard can not see them.

However if you are on iOS5 and OS X Lion, people can see them.

Not sure whats changed and why, but it seems iOS5 can not see iOS4 Emojis and vice versa...

they have an app for this in appstore and an improved version in cydia
