Saw her twice in concert and I've never seen anyone put so much into a performance before or since. One of the saddest things about her was when Dick Cavett asked her if she were doing heroin and she replied, "If I were, who would care?" To his great regret, he didnt say, "I would."

Man, I've never seen that segment of her Woodstock performance before. I've seen bit and pieces of it, slowed down on the "Director's Cut" version of the movie but never in full. They were going off weren't they? Didn't know Snooky put on that much of a show with Kosmic Blues. Cracked me up when he said, "F*#K IT! You're all going home!"

she had trouble relating with that size crowd to begin with(as mentionned in the book "Scars of sweet paradise"), besides not being very happy with her life and her band at the time-she became happier (again) with Full Tilt Boogie
