im not a troll, but i think VFs is making a big fail in most of the students, trying and letting them to do whatever they want as final proyect, to be honest, not all the people can have big ideas or be a good director (this skill needs not years, but many trys).

Artistically this video is great, the premise behind it and the message are spot on.

However as far as the natural world it's a little off, a young tree would much rather have all that open space instead of being in the shade of all those larger trees. The new birth of the young tree won't really last to long, the amount of shade will kill it within a few years.

But that doesn't really matter, the film is still beautiful =P

often fail but it never stops us from tryin: icar and dedal myth

its a great film,

yet a simple story of a tree who wanted to be a butterfly bc met one and didnt know it wasnt the one, so tried to make dream come true, fell and died and its blood/seeds have given a rebirth to a new one to meet its destiny: butterfly

I've never felt such personification with a tree as when the piano picked up with each desperate stretch the sapling made. That was a touching and powerful animation.
