I also love the line "I would not so much as make water but in a sink-a-pace." Mary and Toby are both SO SARCASTIC toward Andrew in this scene, but he's too dumb to see it.
Thank you for putting this up; although I was disappointed in Maria, I'm casted to portray her and I had her envisioned as someone sharp and a bit feisty

I'm auditioning for Feste in my school's production....
Any advice from anyone?
Characterization?
Character quirks?
Almost anything would be appriciated.
Thanks for posting this by the way.

Just understanding what you're saying

A little late but -
I would act burdened through most of most my scenes.
When reveling choose your revels wisely and indulge but shade your lunacy with a bit of melancholy
Remember, you are the wisest character among a cast of lunatics.
Donçt overplay the whirligig of time scene, Feste isnçt vindictive.

Cool.
I'll be playing the part of Malvolio in an excerpt of Act I, Scene V.
Guess I'm doing well!

Well, your interpretation is a bit better than the one in this version.
maria is supposed to be very feisty.

Thank you SO much for putting this up.
I have been casted as Viola, and this completely helps me with my characterization.

I agree. But for those of us who have to take Shakespeare in school, this is a hell of alot better than reading it. My eyes were starting to bleed.
