  • brillant, great , cheers Dave

  • Alcohol is racist.

    Whiskey = you're Irish

    Vodka= you're Russian

    Wine = you're French

    Beer = you're American

    Daquiri = you're gay

  • @Psycho5275

    Beer you're Czech!

  • @Psycho5275 Beer = American? Americans know shit about beer.

  • @SCSabre

    i resent that. whilst true we have had a huge set back (prohibition), we have come through in the past few decades. there's some damn good beer (and, i'll give you, quite a lot of shit) being put out by thousands of breweries all over the US. north coast brewery's rasputin imperial stout is one of the best beer's you'll quaff. or look at brooklyn's brown ale. or bell's two hearted ale (ipa). just because you're average schmuck loves bud doesn't mean there's not offerings aplenty.

  • @JohnnyMo28 Sam Adams triple bock is as mean as cat s**t. i love it.

  • I love this old song especially sung by the Dubliners

  • why does ronnie drew kick so much ass?!

  • @Glenn400ad i think that's like asking why a circle is round.

  • Love this song so much! My dad used to sing it to me every night when i was little and loved it! Love the fact that it connects both Liverpool (My home) and Ireland (My second home)!!

  • This is a Liverpool Folk song given an Irish twist by the Dubliners.

    The place where he sat was Bevington Bush in Liverpool and the Dubliners substituted it with Beggars Bush, still a good version though.

  • Irish people wrote this song about seth Davy when they drank whiskey on a sunday after work years ago

  • "The Ballad of Seth Davy" by Glyn Hughes (ca.1959) of Liverpool, England [1932-1972]. Not an irish song I'm afraid. Seth Davy was a black guy. His 'sideshow' was ''marionettes a la planchette.' Liverpool Museum has an old lantern slide of Seth Davy 'performing' outside the Bevington Hotel.

  • Google 'jigdolls' and see my web page.

  • im Irish and proud of it, the Irish that went to liverpool used to sing this and thats where the native people heard it.

  • Liverpool ! The (unofficial) capital of Ireland !! YNWA.

  • What's this about Irish music. It's aLiverpool song.

  • Still it is Irish music, sure you can hear that.

  • A lot of people in Liverpool are of Irish descent, so technically it could be both.
