um , ,quake 3 only needs128mb of Vram and a 500mhz P3 , im now certain it will run very smoothly actually, since a celeron is miles better than the P3 cpu's and even the 2gigs ram in laptop is miles better than the 256mb of ram they had when quake 3 came out , i seen vids of quake 3 being played on a asus EEE PC , so u know , it will

Dude, you have to learn to keep the opponent visible as often as possible. When you run into the red armour cavern, for instance, you should be running in BACKWARD so your eye is on the arena.

you'd expect the best possible frame rate on that level as it one of the smallest in the whole game and there are 2 other bots in the whole arena. Not a very good level to measure your fps.
