I have a question why cut the metal capsule under the ring and not over it? When I cut it under the ring I tend to drop a little drop of wine if I'm not carefull.
@DavidmAzevedo You should cut under the ring as you dont want the wine you're pouring coming into contact with small, sharp bits of foil left behind after the cut. You shouldnt lose if you take care in how you remove the cork (see 2:20) and then just take care in your pouring method.
@bombaybrat You cannot "cork" wine by being too generous with the screw. Corking is a completely different process, which involves fungal infection of the cork, though this term could quite understandably be confusing. Wine with fragments of cork in it is still drinkable, its just a lesson to be learned from by the server.
Good thing you did not turning the bottle to cut foil, like most people here on YouTube who think they know what they're doing.
However, there is one thing I suggest you to correct: please DO NOT grab the bottle with the left palm, it's very unsightly for your guest. So, just harness the bottleneck with your fingertips only.
Opening a bottle of wine in front of your guest is all about elegance and with no visible force and effort.
You make it look so easy!

You don't move the bottle of wine EVER!!!!!! the bottle stays still at the table. You only move your wrist to open the "aluminum capsule".

This guy has inserted the entire corkscrew in the cork.. this is gonna cork it.. U r suppose 2 leave atleast 1 turn on it..
Secondly u r not suppose to be shakin the bottle so much.. N u r suppose 2 be keepin the label faced to the host at all times while opening...
And lastly, even the last sound that comes when the cork is taken off can be avoided very easily...

Well done, boy, but you shaked the damn' bottle all time....
Here in Italy if you shake the bottle like that you probably get a table banged on your head. :D
