Throw a lofted spare like that, you'll get kicked out at our lanes. Just like the other guys said, wait...and CALM DOWN for Christ sake..it's like you're on speed or something. You might be able to hit a mark 2 or 3 times in a row.

It is when you just put down brand new wooden lanes, not that synthetic stuff, and you have people trying to loft, knocking down speakers off the ceiling and shit. Once one person sees another lofting, they think they can do it too. And they tear up every damn thing there is. Lanes are not cheap..

Because you don't get the same shot on synthetic. I'll bowl in my house and then go bowl in a house nearby that has synthetic and the ball will react two totally different ways. It's so we can be different and not jump on the bandwagon with synthetic.

@FancyGapClawhammer Yeah it's basically all synthetic in my area. I went to NC for a youth tournament and it was on wooden lanes. Took me the first half of the qualifying block to adjust. lmao

Yeah..most of it went down...some parts are still open but nothing much. They've imploded most of it. Haha, if Goodyear wasn't here, Danville wouldn't be here.

Neither. I got lucky and was able to land a mechanic job and it's worked out pretty good. I'm going to a community college so I don't have a back breaking job, and I'm getting an education so I'm pretty happy with what Danville is offering right now.

It's pretty good! We have a 41 lane house so it usually stays kinda empty during the week until the night time specials come rolling around or unless there's league of course. There's some big tournaments every weekend and of course business is picking back up again because winter league has started back up..here at least. How about over there at Virginia Beach?

Bit of advice to Bowler4Ever....if you waited for the rack to complete it's cycle, then picked your ball up and get into your approach, you'd improve considerably.

Those kind of machines can Run 20 to 22 pins but @ the bowling alley @ my town we run 19 :)
