Funny. I had a Scottsdale from 1978 and unlike this one, mine was a shortbed, single tank. Also said "Big 10" on the rear of the bed. And the side moulding wasn't just a straight across strip. It went from the front of the front wheel well opening, up and around the top of it, then all the way to the back and down around the rear of the rear wheel well opening. Best, most reliable vehicle I ever owned. The one in this vid might not be a showstopper, but is the cleanest I've ever seen.
dammit im 15 and i want this... me and my dad like to go fishin, but we need a truck to haul the boat so im thinkin were bout to get a good ole chevy... ima love it
This reminds me of my '79 stepside with a 350 4 bbl. I like the part where he merges onto the freeway when he steps on it hard and the 4 barrel kicks in.
You are looking at the first time I sold it an I bought it back and have resold it again. Really hard to find PU's this nice. I sold it both times for $6,000 I have more PU's for sale go to our web page dragers.com You will see a beautiful '70 Chey and a '69 also just in a '74 it's on the page but know video yet and just in '78 one owner PU it will be on web soon.
I used to get a ride to school in a black scottsdale..in the winter she would stall all over the place and she was driven hard :/ But nowadays I have my own 76 c10 fleetside I bought off a farmer in Ohio. Ive had it for 3 years and havent had to replace a thing and the tow package had done me well...but I wish my doors closed that good lol and the radio only does am and is unprogrammable. but another good grand in her and and shes got no rust. Doesnt shine like this one but damn good paint still
My dad had that exact truck except his was brown. In 85 he had to replace the outer doors and fendors because of rust. It is amazing how that one has been taken care of. You would think its restored being 33 years old.

Whoever got that truck, I hope they were some kind of collector, would be a shame if it went to some kid for a beater.
