You do realize that a lot of those "big fat muscle cars" were actually lighter than Supra's, 300ZX's, 3000GT's, etc. and they had more power. It wasn't uncommon for cars in the late 60's to run in the 13's and 14's stock. Certain ones you could get, all you needed was some slicks and traction bars and would run in the 10's(super stock Dart or Barracuda comes to mind). American V8's are great end of story. This particular car is cool as hell(due to the engine choice).

that shit is slow as fawk. compare to my 72 datsun 510 swap with a k20 twinturbo charge with a fully built bolt on. i put in 1200whp in my car, this car weights only 800lbs. this car went to semi sac 400qm and hit 7.0 sec. this car is my fastest classic car, i be pulling fully built evo 9 left to right with the pedal down switching in a thang.

Had a 72 510 with a 2.0 punched out 80 over and 13.1 comp and could stage in all 5 gears but it was also full race. I could do that with a 4 banger. 8 cyl no prob!
