University of Idaho is doing Die Fledermaus in English set in the 1950s this year, it's playing right now at the Hartung Theatre. I saw it in Utah in period costume and built the set for it there and at UI I'm doing the HL followspot so it's a totally new experience.
No I'm performing a few scenes from Die Fledermaus and I want to get a flavor of the opretta since I've never seen it. Although I think Ida has done a wonderful job as Adele.
Hi, again. Actually that was the character Ida, not the character Adele. I do have a video of Adele doing the Laughing Aria up, also, which you can find if you look for videos by Dietcoke66.
I do have the whole opera on DVD if you'd like a copy.
