I think that the size of the universe is the perfect proof that God doesn't exist. I mean come on, you really think that God created all this just for humans to enjoy? @shumkis It`s not obvious at all - that there are many more life forms in the universe. Considering thermodynamics, particularly "Part II" it is most unlikely that we should exist, never mind others.
I would also like to add that I do believe that higher forms of life might exist, but I very highly doubt it that they give a damn about such inferior life form such as humans. For example maybe ants think that we are God's to them. But do we really give a damn about them? Do we seek that they would worship us? I don't think so. We have just one moon, and only one Sun, while most stars are binary. We are out 26,000 L. Years from the center of our Galaxy, so we don't "fry" from solar radiation, etc. Our Earth is perfect. It is an interesting book.

I think that the size of the universe is the perfect proof that God doesn't exist. I mean come on, you really think that God created all this just for humans to enjoy? It's obvious that there are many more lifeforms in the universe. God also created them just for humans to enjoy? In my opinion people just can't except their insignificance and that's why they believe that they are favorite pets of God, who is #1 in the universe, and that makes us #2 in the universe.

Otherwise, the existence of aliens or other creatures living in space has yet to be proven. I have no reason not to believe the Word of G-d. According to the bible, earth was created only a few thousand years ago. But the universe is almost 14 billion years old. Bible says that God created earth in 7 days. So he spent 14 billion years creating the rest of universe, which according to you is utterly empty from life except earth just that humans could have something to look at? Popular christian belief is that the earth was created about six thousand years ago, that is not for certain. PEOPLE make this claim, not the BIBLE. The Universe was not created just so that humans can gaze at its beauty. Instead, so that we might some day inhabit it. The Holy city Jerusalem will be on earth, which will be the capital...some believe the Universe will be opened to all of G-d's children so thay we may live throughout for all eternity.

Actually, Mr. Tomas, the Bible IS quite unique. And all religions do not lead to the same god. G-d is kind, loving, patient, honest, and giving. There's a reason for all of His decisions. You may not understand His decisions right away, but let not your mind become frustrated. That's what satan wants. You CAN find the asnwers. Pray, let G-d guide you. But you have to HONESTLY want to be guided by G-d. Otherwise, this is all pointless. Go on with your life and live it the way you think is best.

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. She is being sold away to a man, he is alowed to have sex with her and she is his slave.
It does NOT say it was against her will, nor that SHE WANTED TOO. why do you assume it WAS WITH THER OWN WILL? she was SOLD AS PROPERTY.
She wud be his slave for 6 yrs, and have sex with him in that time whether she likes it or not. Its not her choice according to this verse.

I never said I don't believe demons are real, they are. They are the one's that allow card readers to see the future and things. I just don't believe card readers have mystical powers, that witches make incantations on their own. Things like that, all those evil things are powered through satan and his demons. Back then it was legal according to the bible, and many ppl had slaves. it was cruel and u cud have sex with female slaves and the bible has several rules regarding this and what wud happen had a slave been pregnant by its owner.
thats just sick slavery, i think today its more humane and the rules have been taken down cuz they where so stupid, now there are NO rules condoning slavery, as there used to be.

I would also like to add that I do believe that higher forms of life might exist, but I very highly doubt it that they give a damn about such inferior life form such as humans. For example maybe ants think that we are God's to them. But do we really give a damn about them? Do we seek that they would worship us? I don't think so. I think that religion is a very convenient and simple way to explain everything and manipulate people. But day by day it's loosing it's power, hurray!

Read Bill Bryson's book "A Short History of Nearly Everything" and you will understand how RARE our wonderful Earth is and the life on it. We have just one moon, and only one Sun, while most stars are binary. We are out 26,000 L. Years from the center of our Galaxy, so we don't "fry" from solar radiation, etc. Our Earth is perfect. It is an interesting book.
