We had a Silo in Lawrenceville NJ when I was real young. Then it became BEST, another similar type of store and now it's a Gold's Gym. Those WERE the days :-(
Don't forget about the SILO warehouse at 63rd and Lindbergh and the SILO store located in the Bazaar in on Baltimore Pike Clifton Heights! SILO meant Sid and Lois, his wife.

We had a Silos on Black Horse Pike in Audubon.
I still remember when it burned to the ground when I was in high school.
When I got my own place I got my TV there. Still have it too.

$299 for a microwave...those were the days! My last microwave cost $80....LOL. I got my first stereo, a Panasonic w/ giant speakers, at Silo.

I remember Silo! My dad brought me a VCR from there for one of my birthdays. The VCR lasted a good 10 years.
